Job description

Banner University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our thriving Community Clinic Team in Tucson, Arizona. Serve a diverse patient population in a collaborative, academic medical setting where innovation meets compassionate care.
About the Role:
As part of our established and growing primary care practice, you'll provide comprehensive clinical management including:
  • Patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Interpretation of diagnostic tests and prescription of medications
  • Patient education and preventive care counseling
  • Collaborative consultation with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Rotating call duties approximately 1 in 10 weeks
  • Patient Volume: 12-16 patients daily initially, with manageable growth trajectory
Qualifications:
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Active Arizona License (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Current prescribing privileges with DEA license for controlled substances
  • CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications (current)
  • Primary care or similar clinical experience required
