Job description

IMA's Executive Risk Solutions (ERS) team is seeking a Specialist to join our group! This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to start or continue their career in the Business Insurance space by working closely within the ERS team and alongside other IMA servicing teams and carriers to meet client needs. A successful applicant must have strong problem-solving abilities, be adaptable, possess professionalism, and strong communication and relationship building skills. This role can be located in our Wichita, KS, Overland Park, KS, or Denver, CO offices and is eligible for hybrid scheduling!
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to:
  • Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values

  • With moderate guidance:
    • Send out detailed renewal requests to service teams within IMA
    • Preliminarily check and compare new and renewal quotes comparing to expired programs / policies and applications for coverage
    • Limited brokering of Executive Risk deals may be required
  • With minimal guidance:
    • Policy processing in accordance with IMA workflow standards
    • Maintain EPIC data integrity
    • Pull applications as requested by P&C service teams
    • Follow up on quotes due for the ERS team as requested
    • Send bind requests in accordance with the instructions provided by ERS associate
    • Follow up and review binders for accuracy and work with other service teams to deliver seamless internal service
    • Follow-up with service teams on subjectivities needed for policy issuance and finalize with insurance carriers
    • Record keeping (I.e. extensions, revenues, renewal dates, etc.) / Business tracking
    • Produce historical renewal data for ERS team and service teams
    • EPIC related data entry for all ERS associates / file documentation
  • Foster relationships (P&C team, insurance carriers, etc.) and collaboration with different IMA divisions and offices

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: include but are not limited to:
  • Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills preferred
  • Property & Casualty License preferred but not required
  • Written and verbal communication competencies required
  • Critical:
    • Tracking all tasks to applicable deadlines
    • Ability to handle high volume demands accurately with little lead time
    • Ability to respond timely and accurately

Salary Range
$50,000-$75,000 USD
