RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Birmingham, AL that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using C#, .NET, SQL, MVC, and modern JavaScript frameworks. This is a senior-level development role requiring strong full-stack capabilities, with particular emphasis on MVC and Angular/AngularJS.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C# and .NET frameworks
* Develop and maintain backend functionality using SQL
* Build and enhance web applications using ASP.NET MVC
* Develop and support front-end functionality using JavaScript and Angular/AngularJS
* Work across multiple applications, including an application heavily dependent on JavaScript/Angular and another using AngularJS
* Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance, modernization, and code-quality improvements
* Collaborate with development and business teams to deliver enterprise application solutions
* Provide technical guidance and contribute to development and design decisions
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong professional experience with C# and .NET frameworks
* Strong SQL experience
* ASP.NET MVC experience is required
* Strong JavaScript experience
* Demonstrated experience working at a senior software engineering level
Preferred Qualifications:
* AngularJS experience
* Experience with newer versions of Angular
* Full-stack development experience across .NET and modern JavaScript frameworks
* Experience modernizing or supporting legacy web applications
* Experience with Harness
* Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-powered developer assistance tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
