The Publix Technology Services (PTS) Installation Technician position will provide IT technical support for the Miami, FL area to primarily include installation, and repair and preventive maintenance of IT hardware in Publix retail stores.

Your Impact:
  • Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of IT hardware including:
    • Desktop computers
    • Servers
    • Laser and thermal printers
    • Point of sale systems
    • Barcode scanners
    • Weighing devices
    • Networking systems
  • Support Publix retail stores through on-site visits
  • Travel between locations to perform technical tasks
  • Work variable shifts based on project demands and support schedules
  • Perform tasks during overnight, evening, early morning, and daytime hours
  • Complete approximately 60-70% of work between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Occasionally work Sunday nights as needed.
  • Augment support in other geographic areas when required
