Location: Chandler, AZ | Clearance: Active DoD Secret | Contract | 1st Shift (9/80A)
About the Role
Join Indotronix as a Guidance Navigation Control Engineer 3 and play a vital role in advancing high-impact aerospace projects. This is a hands-on, onsite position, where you will spearhead the design, implementation, and testing of advanced missile flight algorithms and simulations. You'll collaborate with top-tier engineers, leveraging your expertise to influence next-generation defense technology.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and test guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms for missiles and flight vehicles
  • Lead the design and validation of 6DOF simulation models for system performance evaluation
  • Apply missile flight dynamics, autopilot, and guidance principles to create robust flight code
  • Analyze and tune control laws, ensuring optimal performance during all phases of flight
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on simulation, modeling, and hardware integration
  • Maintain and refine analysis tools using C++, MATLAB, and Python in a Linux environment
  • Support mission-critical projects requiring a high level of security and technical precision

Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years, Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of professional experience (additional 4+ years considered in lieu of degree)
  • Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
  • Proven experience with missile GNC algorithms and flight dynamics
