Guidance Navigation Control (GNC) Engineer Level 2 | Chandler, Arizona, United States Guidance Navigation Control (GNC) Engineer Level 2 Chandler, Arizona | 9x80 Schedule (Every Other Friday Off) | Active Secret Clearance Required About the Role Indotronix is seeking a results-driven Guidance Navigation Control (GNC) Engineer Level 2 to design and develop advanced simulation software supporting aerospace and flight systems. Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in Chandler, AZ, and contribute to mission-critical projects involving 6 Degree of Freedom (6DOF) simulation, flight software, and trajectory optimization-all in a secure, innovative environment. Responsibilities - Design, implement, and verify simulation toolchains for advanced flight systems. - Develop and maintain 6DOF simulations to enhance flight software validation. - Optimize flight software and simulation performance for mission-critical applications. - Apply trajectory optimization methodologies to improve guidance systems. - Support software integration, rigorous testing, and verification activities in a Linux environment. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust aerospace solutions. - Document software architecture, test outcomes, and technical analyses. - Maintain secure development standards aligned with government requirements. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years' relevant experience, or Master's degree. - Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance. - Proficiency in C++ and Python programming. - Professional experience with Linux-based development. Preferred Skills - Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Engineering or related technical discipline. - Expertise in control systems theory and guidance law design. - Hands-on experience with 6DOF simulation environments. - Competency in Jira, MATLAB, aerospace simulation, and trajectory optimization tools. - Background in flight controls, spacecraft, missiles, launch vehicles, aerodynamic modeling, LQR, Monte Carlo Analysis, PID, and rigid body dynamics.
