Indotronix is seeking an :Guidance Navigation Control (GNC) Engineer Level 2
Location :Chandler Arizona
Work Schedule: 9x80 A (every other Friday off.)
Bachelor’s degree -Required
Active Secret Clearance (Required)

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Simulation Engineer to design, develop, implement, verify, and test high-quality software and simulation toolchains supporting advanced aerospace and flight systems. This role involves working with 6 Degree of Freedom (6DOF) simulations, flight software development, trajectory optimization, and simulation-based testing in a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, verify, and test software and simulation toolchains.

  • Develop and maintain 6DOF simulations to support flight software design and validation.

  • Optimize flight software and simulation performance.

  • Utilize trajectory optimization tools and methodologies.

  • Support software integration, testing, and verification activities.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and validate system capabilities.

  • Document software designs, test results, and technical analyses.

  • Support mission-critical development activities in a secure environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience, or Master’s degree with no prior professional experience.

  • Active U.S. Government Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.

  • Experience with C++ and Python programming.

  • Experience developing software in a Linux environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Knowledge of control systems theory and guidance law design.

  • Experience with 6DOF simulation environments.

  • Proficiency with C++, Python, Jira, and Linux development tools.

  • Experience with trajectory optimization software and aerospace simulation tools.

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with no prior professional experience. Advanced degrees in Engineering or related technical disciplines are preferred.
