Social Media Management
- Create and schedule photo, video, and written content that supports the Office for Global Engagement's marketing strategy.
- Monitor analytics and prepare monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Stay up to date on social media trends and platform updates to maintain relevance and engagement.
- Respond to comments and engage with other social media accounts.
- Occasionally assist with additional social media content creation for departments within Office for Global Engagement (Learning Abroad, International Student and Scholar Services, Utah Asia Campus) as assigned.
Video Creation
- Under the direction of the OGE Marketing Manager, develop and execute creative video concepts that align with the university's mission and values and OGE's strategic goals.
- Utilize your expertise in video production to shoot, edit, and produce high-quality videos
- Manage the entire video production process, including pre-production planning, on-set direction, and post-production editing
- Ensure that all videos adhere to the university's branding guidelines and standards
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with general office duties, such as answering phones, greeting guests, maintaining the marketing supply closet, space cleaning and upkeep, assisting students, etc.
- Represent the Office for Global Engagement at events, tabling functions, and presentations for campus & community partners
- Distribute brochures, flyers, posters, and other advertisement materials related to office events & programming.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- The successful candidate will enjoy working with people and comfortable in front of, as well as behind, the camera
- Some remote work is possible with this role but the majority of working hours will be spent on campus.
