Key Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive design and project management experience, minimum 5+ years in the water/wastewater market.
  • Accomplished Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, or ability to obtain them through reciprocity within 90 days of start date.

• Manage electrical, mechanical, and structural design teams on a variety of water/wastewater infrastructure projects for public utility and private clients.
• Manage planning, design, and construction phase projects while interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines, technicians, inspectors, and permitting specialists.
• Coordinate with Design Discipline Managers to schedule, plan and assign appropriate personnel.
• Effectively understand and communicate project expectations to MEPS Infrastructure project team and Client (both internal and external).
• Prepare design proposals, support project pursuits, and engage in client management and business development activities.
• Employ earned value and quality management principles to prepare and monitor project work plans, schedule, and budget. Oversee deliverable submission and ensure coordination through all disciplines and consultants involved.
• Contribute to the continued growth of MEPS Infrastructure through attending conferences, supporting articles professional publications, and actively participating in State and/or National professional associations through committee involvement and technical presentations.e.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive design and project management experience, minimum 5+ years in the water/wastewater market.
  • Accomplished Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, or ability to obtain them through reciprocity within 90 days of start date.
  • Experience coordinating engineering work and interfacing with other disciplines as needed.
  • Experience interfacing with clients.
  • Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized, with good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and process control systems with general knowledge of applicable codes, national standards, water/wastewater equipment and plant operation, space requirements, and cost.
