Staff Accountant (Entry-Level / Recent Graduate)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent accounting graduate to join our team as a Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch their accounting career in a supportive environment where they will gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of accounting and finance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Assist with payroll support and expense reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports and spreadsheets.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assist with audits by gathering documentation and preparing schedules.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
  • Recent graduate or up to one year of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
