Spectrum Comm Inc is a leading defense & space company seeking a talented Software Programmer to join our team. As a Software Programmer, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions in support of critical national security operations. Responsibilities
  • Serves as primary computer programmer for AFSOAWC training tool software support.
  • Writes updates and maintains computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs within the AFSOAWC training website.
  • Designs and loads training forms, student questionnaires and other documents as required.
  • Consults with management and technical support personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
  • Performs revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users of the use of commercial and Government software and other training website programs as required.
  • Coordinates AFSOAWC updates to various programs ranging from basic internal programs to government owned programs or government utilized program suites.
  • Write/integrate ‘gaming’ applications to enhance AFSOAWC flying training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, or Python
  • Unity Experience
  • Five years’ work related experience
  • Ability to write/integrate ‘gaming’ applications to enhance AFSOAWC flying training programs
  • Secret security clearance required.
