We're passionate about being involved and contributing to the success and progress of each of our GIG Communities.
We pursue these passions because ALLO leaders have created a workplace where folks are valued, ideas are heard, and leaders and teammates show up for each other at work and in life.

We are seeking a Google Cloud Jr. Admin to join our fast-paced IT operations team. In this role, it is essential to maintain and support our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure; you will be on the front lines of managing, monitoring, and optimizing foundational GCP resources. This also includes working closely with our GCP cloud engineers to support real-world initiatives, such as building GCP infrastructure, managing costs, allocating resources, and laying the groundwork for AI integrations like Gemini Enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support of ALLO Fiber's GCP infrastructure and services.
  • Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, permissions, and security policies within the cloud environment.
  • Actively track, analyze, and report on GCP usage and billing to support ongoing cost-optimization initiatives.
  • Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources and AI tools.
  • Maintain and update internal cloud governance documentation, knowledge bases, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT Service Management (ITSM) and software development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 emergency support.

Education and Requirements

  • Formal GCP Cloud foundations training via Cloud Skills Boost or equivalent.
  • A foundational understanding of general cloud computing concepts for GCP.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a customer and team-first mindset.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., CLI, Bash, or Terraform).
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms (like Jira Service Management) and cloud billing analysis.
  • A completed undergraduate degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent) in any field of study, which has helped build strong foundational skills in critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and structured communication.

People are our passion. At ALLO, we don't treat you like a number. You're a human being.

Get ready to plug into the perks at ALLO:

  • Free internet? You bet. Plus, awesome discounts on other ALLO services.

  • Retirement Plan: The fiber future isn't the only one we care about. We match your 401(k) savings up to 5%.
