You Will:
Recruitment:
- ShadowHR Coordinator, Talentduring new hire orientation toobserveand support the process
- Assistwithscheduling and note-taking during30-day onboarding interviews with new hires.
- Support thecreationof newemployeeprofiles andhelplaunch onboarding documentsin HRIS system.
- Assistwith tracking and updating progressin theOnboardingRevamp project inICCTproject management tool.
- Help schedule interviews andassistwithcoordinatinginterviewlogistics.
- Supportsendingreference check requests for potential candidates.
Learning and Development:
- AssistHR Managerwithbackgroundresearch andgathering resourcestosupportofthe Train-the-Trainer program.
- Help prepareand formatpresentation materials for L&D Committee meetings.
- Providegeneralcoordination and administrative support for theICCT's learning management systemimplementationand system roll-out.
- Help coordinate employee events,including assisting withschedulingemployeesfor the Leadership Foundations Program,and draftingemployee communications using MS Office Suite tools.
Compliance and HR Policies:
- Assist with theHRpolicy reviewprocess andhelpuploadfinalizedversions to the HR intranet.
- Help gatherand organizeinformation about state leave programs, eligibility criteria, and employer obligations in all U.S.-registered states where ICCToperates.
- Helpcompile informationabout employer complianceand procedures (such as sexual harassment policies) forapplicableU.S.states
- Support the transferofupdates from the U.S. employee handbook to regional handbooksunder HR team direction.
Staff Engagement and Culture:
- AssistJEDI Championswithmaintainingand updatingan event calendar for theremainderof the calendar year.
- HelpJEDI Champions and regional operations staffresearchlocal printingvendorsfor JEDI awareness posters.
- Support the creation ofslide decks for JEDI Committee meetings, including upcoming holidays and committee updates.
General HR Operations:
- Assist with anHRIS auditby helpingidentifymissing employee details andcross-referencing records with other systems.
- Help research global employer branding strategiesand compile findings for HR team review.
- Support updatetoHR templates to align with the Communications Visual Style Guide.
- Assistwith document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key HR processesunder team guidance.
- Help scheduleand trackrecurring meetings for the HR team.
- Shadow and supporttheHR Coordinator, Talentoncontributions tothe monthly HR Newsletter and All-Staff Communication slides.
You Have:
- High school diploma or equivalentrequired.Individualsactivelypursuing a degree inHuman Resources, Organizational Design,or other related fieldsare encouraged to apply.
- Proficiencyinusing technology to communicate effectively, organize information, and produce quality outputs.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and data entry skills.
- Generalworking knowledge of employment lawisideal but notrequired.
Our Benefits
This isafull-time (30-40 hoursper week)internship opportunitythat will be based in our Washington, D.C.officefor 10-12 weeksand haveanhourly ratestarting at $21.82.Interns are eligible foralimitedbenefits package,whichincludespaidvacation, andother benefits.
