Golf Course Grounds Crew Member
Join our team as a Golf Course Grounds Crew Member and play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our beautiful golf course. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests, and your dedication to turf care and landscape maintenance will help us achieve that goal. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor work and golf course aesthetics to contribute to a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow, edge, and trim fairways, greens, tees, and roughs to maintain optimal playing conditions
- Perform routine landscaping tasks including planting, watering, fertilizing, and aerating turf areas
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems
- Assist with course setup and preparation for tournaments, events, and daily play
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all groundskeeping activities
- Monitor and report any course maintenance issues or hazards to management
- Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal or leaf cleanup as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or turf management preferred
- Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of golf course maintenance standards is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
