Golf Course Landscaper/Equipment Operator

Location: Grasslands Club – Gallatin, TN
Department: Golf Course Maintenance
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time positions available 

Position Summary

Grasslands Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Golf Course Equipment Operator to help maintain our championship-level golf course. This role is essential to delivering exceptional playing conditions and supporting a first-class member experience. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and understands the importance of consistency and care in course maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate golf course maintenance equipment including mowers, blowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, and related tools

  • Mow greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other course areas according to established standards

  • Assist with course setup, bunker maintenance, edging, and debris removal

  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

  • Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment handling guidelines

  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet daily priorities

  • Maintain the overall appearance and playability of the golf course and surrounding areas

Qualifications & Skills
  • Prior golf course or grounds maintenance experience preferred (but not required)

  • Ability to safely operate mechanical equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
