JOB SUMMARY
Attends to the service needs of club patrons in restaurant and dining areas in a courteous manner according to Company standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  1. Promote, work and act in a manner consistent with the values of LGM.
  2. Take, prepare, and deliver drink and food orders for customers.
  3. Enters patron's orders into the computer, verify accuracy of order, collect payment when finished.
  4. Clears tables and attends to the general cleanliness of the dining area.
  5. Assists the chef with food preparation as required.
  6. Ensures the server station and bar is stocked and clean.
  7. Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adheres to the Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service policy.
  8. Maintains professional appearance and demeanor. Adheres to club dress code always.
  9. Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar patrons. Utilizes drink measures and proper pours.
  10. Checks customers' identification and confirms it meets legal drinking age.
  11. Records drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into register system.
  12. Collects guest payment, processes credit card charges and makes change (if applicable).
  13. Maintains the stock in the bar and the cleanliness of the area. Arrange bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
  14. Cleans glasses, utensils, and bar equipment per company guidelines and health department requirements.
  15. Prepares garnishes for drinks and replenishes snacks, appetizers for bar patrons.
  16. Communicates low stock items to the food and beverage manager as appropriate.
  17. Follows closing and duty lists as appropriate.
  18. Reports all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to company management.
  19. Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessing drinking by following company procedures.
  20. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations.
  21. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
  22. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  2. Good oral communication skills.
  3. Can compute simple math and count change accurately.
  4. Able to obtain a food handler's permit or certification.
  5. Has the ability to calculate and complete liquid measurements.
  6. Ability to do simple math and count change accurately.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  1. Certified Food Handler (rserving.com or local certification)
  2. Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco training and/or certificate.
  3. Must be of legal age to pour alcohol per state requirements
  4. High school diploma or GED required
  5. Previous experience in food service/bartending preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 50-100%
  • Standing and walking 50-75%
  • Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0-24%
  • Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 0-25%
  • Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0-24%
