POSITION SUMMARY

Barton Malow Company is seeking Project Engineers to join our team on a thermal project in Ashville, OH. This role involves planning, developing, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring onsite construction engineering activities for projects. The Project Engineer will act as a liaison with architects, engineers, and owners regarding project progress and changes, ensuring seamless communication and execution.


KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
  • Manage all project document control.
  • Process submittals and RFI's.
  • Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
  • Maintain project schedule.
  • Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
  • Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
  • Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite.
  • Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders.
  • Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • 4-year engineering, construction management or related degree.
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience or related construction internship experience.
  • OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to be self-directed in problem-solving.
  • Proactive attitude with commitment to safety.
  • Please note this role will report to the project site daily and travel is required.
