Job description

Description
The Department of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking candidates for a clinical faculty appointment to accommodate the growth of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to a deep clinical expertise in pediatric radiology and excited to shape the future of medicine by guiding the next generation for one of the largest radiology training programs in the U.S, including Fellowships in General Pediatric Radiology, Pediatric Neuroradiology, and Pediatric Interventional Radiology; Residency programs in Diagnostic Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Medical Physics; and medical student sub-interns in Radiology.
UT Southwestern Medical Center is among the nation's elite Honor Roll hospitals in the nation, ranked as the No. 1 hospital in Texas (tied) and is the No. 1 hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth - the nation's fourth-largest metro area. For the seventh consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Children's Medical Center Dallas nationally in all 11 specialty areas - the only hospital in North Texas, and one of a select few in the nation, to achieve such distinction.
The Department of Radiology presents a unique opportunity for a dynamic pediatric radiologist in a large and growing academic Radiology practice. You will partner with the Division Chief of Pediatric Radiology and a team of 27 pediatric radiology faculty who collectively and collaboratively provide specialized services at Children's Medical Center Dallas and Plano, Clements University Hospital, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and their affiliated clinics. You will also have the opportunity to work in the $5 billion pediatric health campus that will span over 33 acres and offer a new 2 million square foot pediatric hospital, now under construction.
Interested in research? UT Southwestern ranks 3rd globally for publishing high quality scientific healthcare research. UTSW scientists are currently leading ~5800 research projects with more than $719 M in support.
Whether your desired focus is clinical care, teaching or research (or maybe a combination) UTSW encourages and supports career design to meet your professional goals. Several leadership opportunities within the pediatric radiology division are also available. Please inquire for more information.

Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. The candidate must also meet the following requirements:
