Key Responsibilities
Integration Development & Support

• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and trading partners
• Design, develop, and maintain:
  • Profiles
  • Accounts
  • BPML business processes
  • Adapters
  • Services within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator

Trading Partner Onboarding

• Configure and test bi-directional connectivity using:
  • SFTP
  • HTTPS
  • AS2
  • AWS S3
  • Connect:Direct
• Develop ITX mapping transformations for:
  • EDI X12
  • XML
  • Datasets
  • Flat files

Administration & Troubleshooting

• Manage certificates and security configurations
• Perform performance tuning and system administration
• Troubleshoot issues using:
  • Log analysis
  • Database queries
  • Sterling Control Center
• Document solutions and operational procedures
• Participate in on-call production support

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education Requirements Required
Bachelor's Degree in:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Or a related field

Degree Equivalency

• 4 years of relevant work experience, OR
• 2 years of relevant work experience plus an Associate's Degree in a related field
• 6+ years of application development, systems testing, or related IT experience
• 6+ years of hands-on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator experience
• Strong BPML development and workflow design experience
• ITX mapping expertise
• Deep knowledge of partner connectivity protocols:

o SFTP
o HTTPS
o AS2
o AWS S3
o Connect:Direct
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sterling File Gateway (SFG) mailbox routing
• Strong ITX mapping and integration experience
• Knowledge of Sterling ecosystem components:

o SSP (Secure Proxy)
o SEAS
o SCC (Control Center)
o Connect:Direct

• Linux/Unix administration experience
• Shell or Perl scripting experience
• Strong understanding of:

o SSL/TLS
o Certificates
o Encryption
o SSH Keys
o PGP Keys
o Secure file transfer best practices
Required Technical Skills
IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI)
Develop and maintain integrations, configurations, and BPML workflows
IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG)
Configure partner onboarding and mailbox-based file routing
IBM Sterling MyFileGateway (MFG)
Support secure, web-based file exchange for business users
IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX)
Build and maintain transformation maps
IBM Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP)
Configure secure external connectivity and gateway services
IBM Sterling Control Center (SCC)
Monitor file transfers, configure alerts, and generate operational reports
IBM Sterling Connect:Direct
Support automated and secure file transfers between Connect:Direct nodes
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
