ROLE DESCRIPTION:
BJ Nagle State Farm Agency is seeking an organized and motivated intern to support our insurance sales team and assist in building strong customer relationships. As an Insurance Sales Intern, your attention to detail, dedication to customer service, and eagerness to learn will prepare you for a versatile role that blends administrative support with sales experience. Your contributions as a driven professional in a fast-paced environment will open the door to a growing career and expanding income potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the agency in meeting business goals through agreed-upon duties and sales support
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based approach to educate clients about insurance solutions
  • Support sales producers by managing administrative tasks and helping with client communications
  • Participate in training and coaching sessions to develop insurance sales skills
  • Build relationships with clients using qualified leads provided—no out-of-pocket cost for prospecting
  • Shadow experienced agents to learn sales techniques and client management
  • Contribute to the team’s success through effective communication and collaborative work
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program for the duration of the internship
  • Coursework or interest in Insurance, Financial Services, Marketing, Real Estate, or related fields
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Motivated self-starter eager to learn, grow, and pursue a career in insurance sales
  • Willingness to obtain insurance licenses and master agency systems
