ABOUT THIS ROLE
Job Summary:
The Operations Analyst supports the Finance Operations & Consolidations team by managing the quarterly analytics ("FQ") calendar, preparing variance/flux analysis reporting, and assisting with eliminations and allocation journal entries. This role is a strong fit for someone early-to-mid career who wants broad exposure to consolidation accounting, ERP systems, and process-improvement/AI initiatives, working closely with the Senior Manager and the rest of the Financial Systems & Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Calendar Ownership: Own and manage the FQ (quarterly analytics) calendar, including deadlines for monthly flux commentary and quarterly variance analysis submissions.
  • Variance Reporting: Prepare and compile variance/flux analysis reporting used in the quarterly analytic review process provided to internal and external auditors.
  • Operations Calendar: Implement and maintain a FQ Operations calendar covering all non-close items, including audit requests, regulatory deliverables, and other recurring obligations.
  • Systems Projects: Assist with FQ and NetSuite-related projects, including system enhancements, testing, and reporting improvements.
  • FloQast Support: Support day-to-day use of FloQast, including task and reconciliation setup and checklist maintenance, and help identify opportunities to streamline close tasks within the system.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare eliminations and allocations journal entries as part of the monthly/quarterly consolidation close.
  • Stakeholder Support: Respond to ad hoc requests from Finance leadership, other Finance teams, and auditors.
  • AI Champion: Partner with the Senior Manager to identify, test, and help roll out AI and automation tools that reduce manual effort in close, consolidation, and reporting workflows.
  • Special Projects: Support AI and efficiency project work and other special projects assigned by the Senior Manager, Operations & Consolidations.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience; internship or co-op experience considered for less-experienced candidates.
  • Working knowledge of journal entries, intercompany eliminations, and/or basic consolidation concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior exposure to financial services, broker-dealer, or fintech accounting.
  • Experience supporting an external audit or quarterly review process.
  • Exposure to NetSuite or another ERP system.
  • Exposure to FloQast or another close-management/automation tool.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills; comfort working with account-level GL detail.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to summarize account-level detail into clear, audit-ready explanations.
  • Organization: Highly organized, comfortable owning a recurring calendar/deadline structure across multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills; able to explain financial detail clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity: Comfort with process-improvement and AI/automation tools.

Salary Range
$57,456-$71,820
The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
