Summary:
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Cashier Mail Processor. This individual will report to the Manager - Cash Receipts and is responsible for accurately recording revenue, cash receipts and mail opening for bank deposit.
This position will be based in our HFHI administrative headquarters office in Americus, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review checks and forms for deposit and entry into HFHI Systems and reconcile and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Cross functional training (mail opening, adjustments, wires data entry etc.) to step in the absence of other employees.
  • Identify and record transactional cash receipts into General Ledger or Financial Force systems.
  • Communicate and correspond to outside vendors or Internal departments.
  • Input requirements for segmented transactions and make changes to constituent records.
  • Identify and correct rejected items.
  • Log authorized and settled credit card donations and foreign currencies received.

Key Requirements:
  • Associate's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing cash receipts with preferably a strong 10 key calculator proficiency - being able to type 60 words a minute.
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in a Financial Resource Department.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to identify unusual transactions.

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate's qualifications and professional experience.
