All-Weather Seal of West Michigan is building an AI & Automation Division, and we're looking for an AI & Automation Intern to help us build and implement real technology inside our business.

This is a hands-on position. You won't just be observing—you'll work on real projects involving AI, automation, software, APIs, and business processes that employees will actually use.


What You'll Do

  • Build and improve AI tools and internal software
  • Create AI assistants using platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude
  • Help automate repetitive business processes
  • Work with Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Zapier, and Azure
  • Assist with API integrations and connecting different software systems
  • Write and maintain scripts, workflows, and automations
  • Test and troubleshoot technology before it is released
  • Help employees learn and use new AI tools
  • Create simple training materials and how-to guides
  • Document processes and create SOPs
  • Research new AI and software tools
  • Identify opportunities where technology can save employees time and improve efficiency

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Strong interest in technology, AI, automation, or software
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and solve problems
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and business software
  • Available 16–24 hours per week for the full 90-day internship
  • Able to work in person in Lowell, MI

Preferred:

  • Experience with ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI tools
  • Basic coding or scripting experience
  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, SQL, or HTML
  • Experience with APIs, JSON, or integrations
  • Experience with Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365
  • Background in computer science, information systems, data analytics, business, marketing, or a related field
