What does a freelance film script writer do?

A Freelance Film Script Writer creates original scripts or adapts existing stories for films, working independently rather than as a staff writer for a studio. They develop characters, dialogue, and plotlines, often collaborating with directors and producers to refine the script. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a freelance film script writer?

To thrive as a Freelance Film Script Writer, you need strong storytelling abilities, creative writing skills, and a solid understanding of screenplay structure, often supported by a degree in film, creative writing, or related experience.
