What We’re Looking For:

What You’ll Do:
  • Conducting feasibility studies, power system modeling, and electrical calculations for solar and battery storage projects and substations 
  • Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support power system analysis
  • Analyze designs to ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NERC standards 
  • Providing mentorship and leading teams
  • Contributing technical expertise to business development and proposals 
Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Electrical Engineering especially in power system analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability 
  • Demonstrated experience in load flow, short circuit, and stability studies 
  • Skilled in protective device coordination, arc-flash analysis, mitigation strategies, and relay settings 
  • Capable of performing grounding system analysis, harmonics studies, and cable shield induced voltage assessments 
Nice-to-Haves:
  • PE Licensure 
  • MS in Electrical Engineering 
  • Internship or project experience in power systems or renewables 
  • Involvement in student/professional engineering societies 
  • Experience with electrical design or consulting 
  • Proficient in modeling and analyzing transients including TOV, switching surges, and lightning 
  • Understanding of FERC and NERC PRC standards, including preparation of closeout documentation for CAISO, SPP, ERCOT and other regulatory bodies
