Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Summer Intern to join our Mobile Robots team. In this role, you will shadow mechatronics engineers involved in VNA and Pantograph vehicle design, gaining handson exposure to the full mechatronic development lifecycle. You will support the installation of design features on prototype vehicles and assist with test setup, execution, and teardown activities. The intern will generate test reports, support documentation efforts, and edit CAD drawings, while contributing to mechatronic development activities for vehicle features throughout the design cycle. This internship offers practical experience working with prototype vehicles, crossfunctional engineering teams, and realworld robotics hardware development.We offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $19.00 - $23.00 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in this Role:

  • Shadowmechatronics engineers involved in VNA and Pantograph vehicle design

  • Support design feature install on prototype vehicles, test setup, execution, and teardown activities.

  • Generate test reports and edit CAD drawings

  • Contribute to mechatronic development for vehicle features throughout design cycle.

What We are Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Basic understanding of simple tools, machinery, and electrical/control systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.

  • Effective written communication skills for technical documentation.
