Hollman is about innovation. Hollman is the world’s largest manufacturer of wood and laminate lockers. We pride ourselves on staying at the forefront of our industry by continually offering new designs and finish options while producing them using modern computer-controlled equipment.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in estimating and manufacturing. The Entry Level Estimator will assist with preparing project estimates, reviewing drawings and specifications, and supporting the Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing accurate project estimates and quotations.

  • Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

  • Perform basic material takeoffs and quantity calculations.

  • Support estimating team with gathering pricing information from vendors and suppliers.

  • Assist in calculating labor, material, freight, and transportation costs.

  • Organize and maintain estimating files, spreadsheets, and project documentation.

  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams to support project bids and proposals.

  • Help track Invitations to Bid (ITBs) and project opportunities.

  • Resolve basic discrepancies by collecting and reviewing information.

  • Learn company products, manufacturing processes, and estimating procedures.

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple assignments.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or related field.

  • Previous internship, estimating, manufacturing, construction, or office experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Basic math and analytical skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
