Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We build the software that powers KLA's worldclass wafer inspection systems, used every day in highprecision semiconductor manufacturing around the globe, and you'll be part of that impact! Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve software modules with moderate autonomy, following established coding standards and architectural guidelines
  • Own small to midsized features or subsystems, from implementation through testing and sustainment
  • Contribute actively to design discussions and code reviews, offering technical suggestions and improvements
  • Write and maintain effective unit tests and system tests, improving coverage and software reliability
  • Perform independent debugging and rootcause analysis for software issues, raising attention to complex problems as needed
  • Develop a working understanding of systemlevel behavior and how software interacts with hardware, optics, and algorithms
  • Support verification and validation activities, including log analysis, test execution, and results documentation
  • Consistently follow-and begin to improve-KLA's SDLC processes and engineering documentation

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in industry
  • Handson experience with C++, Java, C# or any equivalent language
  • Understanding of objectoriented programming concepts and basic data structures
  • Experience working with larger codebases or systemlevel software
  • Familiarity with development environments, debugging tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Coursework or experience related to image processing, realtime systems, or hardwaresoftware interaction preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree and minimum of 2 years related experience; or an advanced degree without experience ; or equivalent work experience.
