Our internship program is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and contribute to projects that shape communities.

This position is meant to cover the fall, with a targeted start date no later than August 24th.




What you'll Do

  • Collaborate with a team in the conceptual planning and design of civil engineering projects, including water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and site development.
  • Prepare and revise engineering drawings, concept plans, and figures using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Assist with design calculations, both by hand and using modeling software such as HydroCAD, WaterCAD, etc.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports and applications
  • Assist with construction administration responsibilities including the review of product submittals and responding to requests for information
  • Site visits during the design and construction phase to review onsite conditions and construction progress.

The rate for this position generally ranges between $39,520- 43,680 annually OR $19.00-$21.00 Hourly. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
