Job description

About High Scale
We're High Scale-a future-focused, data-obsessed agency revolutionizing video advertising. Imagine Amazon's customer obsession combined with SpaceX's fearless innovation-that's the DNA behind everything we do.
Our team is scaling fast, producing thousands of high-impact social videos every week for the world's leading lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and DTC brands. With 50,000 sq. ft. of studio space in DTLA and a proprietary approach to AI-driven performance, we are dominating 2026. We need a Growth Marketing Intern who is hungry to learn how real millions are made on the internet.
Why This Role Matters
You aren't here to fetch coffee or organize spreadsheets that no one reads. You are here to find the next winning hook.
As a Growth Marketing Intern, you will get a front-row seat to the engine room of a high-performance agency. You will be paired directly with our Directors of Creative Strategy and Media Buying, helping them pull data, spot trends, and build campaigns for some of the biggest DTC brands in the world. This is a bootcamp in modern performance marketing. If you can keep up, you won't just leave with a resume builder-you'll leave knowing how to print money on the internet.
What You'll Do
1. Trend Spotting & Competitor Intelligence
  • Live in the Meta Ad Library and TikTok Creative Center. You will stalk our competitors to see what hooks, offers, and visual formats they are scaling.
  • Identify rising audio trends, meme formats, and visual styles on TikTok/Reels before they peak, and pitch them to the creative team in our weekly syncs.
  • Compile weekly "Creative Intelligence" reports that tell our strategists exactly what is working in the broader DTC landscape.

2. Data Forensics & Reporting
  • Pull daily performance data across Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads. You will learn how to read the matrix: CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Help the Media Buying team diagnose funnel leaks. (e.g., "The thumb-stop ratio on this video is 40%, but the click-through rate is 0.5%-the hook is great, but the call-to-action is weak.")
  • Maintain our "Win Logs," documenting every successful A/B test so the agency can learn from it.

3. Creative Operations
  • Assist Strategists in writing creative briefs and scripts for the production team.
  • QA (Quality Assurance) ad assets before they go live. You are the last line of defense to ensure the right link, the right promo code, and the right video are being used.
How You'll Be Measured (KPIs)
  • Trend Translation: How many of your "spotted trends" get turned into actual video briefs.
  • Data Accuracy: Zero errors in your daily reporting and data pulls.
  • Speed & Proactivity: How quickly you execute tasks and your ability to anticipate the team's needs before they ask.
  • Growth: Your ability to move from "pulling data" to "interpreting data" by the end of the internship.
Who You Are
1. The "Chronically Online" Analyst
  • You are a junior, senior, or recent graduate looking to break into digital marketing, growth, or advertising.
  • You understand internet culture intuitively. You know the difference between a native-looking TikTok and a polished corporate ad.

2. A Spreadsheet Nerd
  • You aren't afraid of numbers. You know your way around Google Sheets/Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and love finding the story hidden inside raw data.
  • You are meticulously organized and possess an eagle eye for detail.

3. Hungry & Humble
  • You check your ego at the door. You are ready to ask a hundred questions, fail fast, and learn faster.
  • You thrive in a high-speed environment. When the pace picks up, you lean in.
Perks & Benefits
  • Direct Mentorship: Learn daily from elite media buyers and creative strategists who manage millions in ad spend.
  • Real Impact: See your ideas shot in our 50,000 sq. ft. studio and pushed live to millions of feeds.
  • Career Trajectory: High-performing interns are first in line for full-time Strategist or Media Buyer roles.

High Scale is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and believe it's key to building teams that change the world-one breakthrough campaign at a time.
