Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to identify conditions and potential treatment pathways.
• Develop and explain detailed treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring active participation in goal-setting.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment protocols while adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape to implement effective therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to address complex cases and make timely adjustments to patient care plans when needed.
• Document patient care activities meticulously, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to provide a comprehensive view of patient progress and ensure continuity of care.
• Manage time efficiently and meet productivity standards while maintaining an organized treatment schedule and participating in clinic marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental goals, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including pursuing continuing education opportunities and mentoring new clinicians or student interns.
• Advocate for excellent patient experiences and accessibility to care by being adaptable and responsive to patient needs.
• Participate in initiatives designed to remove barriers to care and improve patient satisfaction metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact predominantly with individuals seeking rehabilitation following surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Our patient demographic is diverse, from young athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to older adults aiming to regain mobility and independence. The focus is on personalized care that maximizes recovery potential through targeted physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida is mandatory.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not mandatory, at least two years of professional experience in a clinical outpatient physical therapy setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
