FORKLIFT OPERATOR/MATERIAL HANDLER

Temp to Hire Opportunity

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL 

Schedule: Monday thru Friday - 1st shift 8:00am to 4:30pm 

Requirements:  Resume / Interview / English Speaking / Authorized to work in the United States 

PAY: $20/hr.


Job Summary:
Our client, a leading logistics company specializing in cargo handling, is seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator (50%)/Material Handler (50%). 


Responsibilities:

  • Operate a sit down gas powered forklift. Inspect cargo for discrepancies or damage and report any issues promptly.
  • Loading and unloading container by hand 
  • Utilizing a pallet jack to unload and load containers occasionally 
  • Cleaning warehouse 
  • Palletizing  
  • Material handling
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to maintain smooth and organized operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while handling materials.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate workflow.
  • Lift  up 50 pounds throughout the day
