Job description

Job Position: Material Handler
Location: Bartlett, IL 60103
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: Third Shift
Description: Material Handler - 3rd Shift
Procure the material, inserts, packaging and all other necessary components for manufacturing of parts as per daily job schedule.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Procure all necessary materials for all jobs running on floor as per daily job schedule using Material Request form. Bring material from the issue area and distribute as per machine requirements. Follow all necessary procedures and fill out appropriate paper work to ensure Lot Traceability integrity and inventory accuracy are maintained. Make sure that molding operations are not disturbed due to unavailability of material. Clean all auxiliary equipment as needed as well as helping to setup molds as needed.
The employee is required to lift or push up to 55 pound loads. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to keep him/her active. While not working with material, the employee is required to help perform setup duties as well as preparing in advance for following shifts. The employee is also required to grind all runners and non-conforming parts so that there is no build up in the work area and to label and properly return regrind to the re-stock area. The employee is required to work in a moderate noise levels and keep grinder, resin container, suction system and filters, etc. neat and clean.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the job.
Education/Experience: Grade school and two to three years related experience in Injection Molding field. Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
Be able to pass a basic math, reading comprehension and material test(s)
There will be two hours of training needed prior to the shift start

During summer time, sleeve less shirts and/or shorts are not allowed for your safety precaution only half sleeves shirts and capri pants are permitted. No open toe shoes are allowed.
