Salary Range: $24 to $31+ per hour (depending on shift and experience)

Y. Hata is seeking friendly and reliable route drivers to join our Transportation Department. As an established, locally owned company, we take pride in our excellent service reputation and are excited to welcome new team members to contribute to our success.
Available Shifts and Pay Rates:
Day Shift - $24.00 to $29.00+ per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday with Saturday rotation, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Night Shift - $26.00 to $31.00+ per hour
Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday and Friday, 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM

Position Summary Description:
As a CDL B Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering grocery products to our valued customers! Operating our refrigerated truck, you'll navigate established routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. Your role goes beyond driving - you'll be a customer service ambassador, collecting payments, resolving complaints, and reporting any issues promptly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operates delivery vehicles to deliver food items, beverages, paper products, and cleaning supplies to customer's place of business.
2. Unloads products from delivery vehicles using a pallet truck, cart, or hand truck, and places stock on customer's shelves or racks.
3. Preserves product quality and minimizes damages during delivery.
4. Collects checks from customers and records transactions on customer receipt and delivery records.
5. Writes and reports any damages or discrepancies in orders delivered.
6. Collects or picks up empty containers, pallets or rejected or unsold merchandise.
7. Performs daily inspection of truck and general maintenance, including fueling and cleaning.
8. Adheres to all Federal and State driver guidelines.
9. Performs similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
10. Uses the Company's Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
Qualifications:
Two years of delivery route experience preferred and familiarity with local roadways and townships within the route area along with one year experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in food service.
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
*CDL Driver applicants are required to submit a copy of their Driver History Record with their application if selected. Driver History Record must have been issued within the past 30 days from date of application.
