GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS Perform entry level professional duties of moderate difficulty providing the opportunity for professional training in various offices throughout the City. Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance. Specific activities vary by department.

Work is performed under direct supervision. This internship is with the Parks and Recreation Department. Interns will work a maximum of 30 hours a week.

The internship begins in September ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist with eSports program Assist with Coding Robots Program Maintenance of the facility is expected Enforces rules and regulations; maintains safeguards against accidents and instructs children in safe use of equipment. Instructs individuals and groups in recreational activities; maintains discipline in recreational areas. Handles related paperwork such as attendance records and requisitioning supplies.

Participates in staff meetings Able to work nights and weekends ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform related work as required QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE) Enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree seeking program in an accredited college or university in eSports, Gaming, Computer Science, or a related field. Required: A Resume is required for consideration for this position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Working knowledge of eSports, gaming, block coding, S.T.E.M
