We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, and improvement of mechanical components and systems. This role is ideal for early‑career engineers with hands-on SolidWorks experience who are excited to contribute to real-world engineering projects and grow professionally within a collaborative environment. This role requires in-person support. Duties: * Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks. * Assist with mechanical design, prototyping, and testing activities. * Perform tolerance analysis, basic calculations, and design validation tasks. * Support senior engineers in developing new products and improving existing designs. * Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance. * Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations as needed. Required Education: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Required Experience: * 0-3 years of mechanical design experience (internships acceptable). * Proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, drawings). * Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation or similar). * Familiarity with GD&T principles. * Exposure to prototyping, machining, or manufacturing environments. * Knowledge of PDM systems. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
