Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician / Technologist

Job Description

This role focuses on the electrical assembly and documentation of a variety of products, primarily welding power supply units and control panels. You will work from blueprints and wiring diagrams to complete electrical builds, finalize wiring harnesses, and support continuous improvement of product designs. The position offers hands-on work in a clean, modern facility with opportunities to rotate across multiple products and contribute to inventory readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and document a variety of electrical products, including welding power supply units and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to perform accurate electrical assembly.
  • Build power supply units across 10–12 different products, rotating through product lines on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Finalize the assembly of wiring harnesses by plugging in connectors and completing the last portion of wire hookups.
  • Perform wiring, soldering, and crimping tasks to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Work with control panels, including reading designs and wiring components to build complete panels.
  • Maintain all required documentation for each product, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide feedback based on hands-on experience to help improve product designs and assembly processes.
  • Assist with building and maintaining stock inventory to ensure adequate quantities of components and assemblies are on hand.
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical assembly issues and collaborate with team members to resolve them.
  • Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
