In this role, you'll assist with design, planning, and project development for a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Goals & Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Assist with electrical design and drafting for diverse project types including:
    • Sizing of electrical services, transformers, switchboards, and distribution systems
    • Perform load calculations and equipment sizing
    • Coordinate utility service requirements
    • Design standby and emergency power systems
    • Lighting design including photometrics and lighting control systems
    • Low-voltage and technology system design including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and wired/wireless networks
  • Support the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates
  • Perform data analysis and calculations under supervision
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers and architects to deliver solutions
  • Participate in team meetings and client communication as needed
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
  • Construction Administration and site visits

Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Strong technical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative environment
