Job description

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Washington, PA


A Senior Electrical Engineer in this role designs and integrates the electrical systems of high-speed semiconductor assembly machines (Die Bonders). The job involves developing power, analog, and digital electronics, working with motor control systems, integrating sensors and communication networks, and collaborating with mechanical, software, and process engineers to build reliable manufacturing equipment.

Key skills required:

  • Electrical circuit design (power, analog, digital)
  • Servo, stepper, and DC motor control
  • Industrial automation and control systems
  • System integration and debugging
  • Communication protocols (Ethernet, EtherCAT, I²C, USB)
  • Wiring diagrams, cable/connector design
  • Cross-functional teamwork and vendor coordination

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and debug electrical systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Develop power, analog, and digital circuits.
  • Design and integrate servo, stepper, and DC motor control systems.
  • Integrate sensors, controllers, and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet, EtherCAT, I²C, USB).
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable designs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in power, analog, and digital circuit design.
  • Strong experience with motor control systems and industrial automation.
  • Hands-on experience in system integration and electrical debugging.
  • Ability to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable electrical designs.
  • Semiconductor equipment experience is preferred.
