Job Description

This hands-on internship provides valuable professional experience on campus, working closely with the Nutrition Manager (Registered Dietitian) support health and wellness events and initiatives for Tulane Hospitality.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nutrition Manager in developing and executing health and wellness programs on campus.
  • Create health and wellness marketing materials, including social media posts, videos, flyers, educational content, and handouts.
  • Organize and host health and wellness events, including tabling sessions, cooking classes, and other promotional activities.
  • Engage with students to provide peer-to-peer nutrition education.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Nutrition Manager.

Qualifications
  • Must be a current Tulane student
  • Knowledgeable in nutrition topics, with the ability to gather and present evidence-based nutrition information.
  • Food, nutrition, dietetics or other relevant majors preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).
  • Experience with content creation platforms (e.g Canva, Adobe, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong creative and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
  • Availability to work 10 - 20 hours per week.
