Job description

Join our Team as a Data Analytics Intern!
The Role:
We're seeking a motivated Data Analytics Intern to join our team in Summer 2027! This internship offers hands-on experience in Toyota Material Handling's (TMH) Aftermarket Training Department where you'll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into that enhance reporting and analytics for our dealer network. You'll gain experience with Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, data visualization, and business reporting while collaborating with the Training and Dealer Development team, mentors, and leadership to create tools that drive data-informed decision making.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Develop and enhance Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for dealerships and internal business partners.
  • Integrate and validate training and business data from Snowflake and other enterprise data sources.
  • Collaborate with Training, Information Technology, and Business Intelligence teams to identify reporting opportunities and improve existing dashboards.
  • Create new visualizations, key performance indicators, and interactive reports that help monitor training completion, certification progress, and dealership performance.
  • Analyze business requirements, document reporting needs, and recommend data-driven solutions that improve reporting efficiency and user experience.

What We're Looking For:
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
  • Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, or data querying concepts.
  • Interest in business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
