In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of high-performance, visually stunning websites and e-commerce platforms. You will bridge the gap between creative design and technical implementation, ensuring every digital experience we build is seamless, responsive, and optimized for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Implementation: Accurately translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-fidelity, functional web pages.
  • Customization: Implement and customize themes, templates, and CMS structures to meet unique client needs.
  • Optimization: Maximize site performance, page load speeds, and ensure flawless cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to integrate visual assets, dynamic content, and interactive features.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage bug fixes, and deploy regular updates.
  • Integrations: Manage and configure third-party integrations, including marketing automation, ERPs, and analytics tools.
  • Performance Tracking: Set up and track website performance metrics to provide data-driven insights.
  • Standards Advocacy: Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal web standards, documentation, and development best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Technical Expertise:

  • Front-End Development: Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Back-End Fundamentals: Experience with APIs, server-side logic, and basic database interactions to support complex integrations.
  • Platform Specialization: Proven experience in building, customizing, and scaling platforms within Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
  • E-commerce Proficiency: Strong knowledge of e-commerce functionality, including product catalogs, cart logic, checkout flows, and payment gateway configurations.

Professional Competencies:

  • Clean Code Practices: Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code with experience in version control (Git) and debugging.
  • Design Sensibility: Solid grasp of web design principles, including layout, typography, accessibility standards, and user experience (UX).
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to find creative solutions to technical constraints.
  • Teamwork: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary creative environment.

Education & Experience:

  • A degree or formal training in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent practical experience and a strong portfolio of Shopify or other E-commerce platforms projects will be highly considered.
