Transit Bus CDL Drivers for Special Projects and Winter Ski Routes

Must-Have Requirements: All candidates MUST hold a Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement.

This contract starts on May 24th, 2026 and ends on June 20th, 2026

The Driver Provider in Salt Lake City is on the lookout for enthusiastic CDL Transit Drivers to join our team for the 2025-2026 summer season! This is to assist the UTA in a bus bridge driving transit buses.

What to Expect: You'll enjoy a variety of shifts, from early mornings to lively afternoons and evenings, and we’re hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. You’ll be operating our Transit Style buses, making every day an adventure!

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Hold a Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
  • Have a favorable driving record
  • Pass a pre-employment and random drug test
  • Clear a federal background check
  • Own or obtain a professional uniform of black pants, collared shirts.
  • Speak fluent English

What You’ll Do: As our Transit Shuttle Driver, you’ll be the friendly face our clients look forward to seeing! Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working varied shifts that keep things fresh
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to keep our fleet in top shape
  • Greeting clients with a warm smile
  • Ensuring a safe, courteous, and speedy journey for everyone on board
  • Communicating effectively with clients to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Anticipating client needs and building meaningful connections

Pay and Benefits: This position offers hourly pay rate of $35 per hour, and $20.00 per hour while training.
