This position is accountable for applying metallurgical knowledge in product development, process improvement, practice optimization, and problem-solving. The principal challenge of this position is to identify and drive process improvements that prevent problems, improve efficiencies, and reduce variation. When required, this position will develop solutions to metallurgical process problems of moderate scope and lead the implementation of these solutions in an economical, timely, and safe fashion.
What you will work on:
  • Improve product quality and problem-solve customer and internal quality concerns
  • Increase Metallurgical understanding of processes
  • Develop Metallurgical practices and/or procedures that result in process efficiencies
  • Perform statistical analysis of complex process issues
  • Learn the location's standards, procedures and technologies

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Material Science and Engineering
  • Ability to function in a Team environment

  • Internship experience in metal industry and/or Quality Systems.
  • Internship experience in Project Management, Electronic Messaging, Statistical Methods, Engineering Calculations, Physical Metallurgy, Advanced Problem solving.
