Job description

Job Title: Sr Solutions Architect (Workday HCM, Time Tracking and

Responsibilities • Act as a trusted advisor to HR, Payroll, IT and business leaders, lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Workday HCM, Time Tracking, and Absence modules • Design cross-module integrations and ensure alignment between HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and downstream systems • Assess current systems and utilization; identify and recommend improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the people reporting • Build and execute detailed implementation plans including discovery, design, QA/test, deploy and support leveraging agile methodologies • Develop detailed test plans, test scripts, and execute testing to deliver a thorough, bug free reporting solution • Ensure product in development matches the specified requirements by being the key point of liaison for all involved teams • Manage Workday releases and upgrades by performing thorough testing and validating reporting functionality • Responsible for identifying risks during product development as well as developing mitigation efforts to address data quality, as needed • Partner with IT to ensure system and data compliance with data security and privacy requirements • Provide on-going feedback to teams and peers across organizations and teams in order to help drive product adoption • Support technical troubleshooting and issues with vendors and technology partners • Collaborate with our internal employee support teams and project management teams on process documentation, communication and training • Partner with Finance and IT to provide documentation for internal and SOX control

Requirements • Minimum 12+ years of experience with proven results in developing business requirements, deploying applicable technologies and business process re-engineering • Minimum 10 years hands-on Workday configuration experience, including business processes, condition rules, custom fields, and security • Minimum 4+ years developing and coaching technical or operational teams • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization including senior leadership • Proven track record in managing at least one full-cycle Workday Time Tracking and Absence implementation for global company • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business, or related technical fields, or relevant experience • Experience with other technology such as AI for HR, content/knowledge and case management • Experience with process development in the HR technology space or custom application development • Solid experience in Scrum or similar Agile development methodology • Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments and creating clarity out of ambiguity • Management consulting experience • Recent HR technology full life cycle implementation • Process orientation and project management skills, experience with multiple project methodologies including Agile / iterative development • Workday Certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification • Custom reports & calculated fields • Ability to influence without positional power • Experience with Product Development in the HR Technology space or custom application development • Familiarity with US and Global data privacy laws, GDPR and Sarbanes Oxley compliance • Strong customer orientation and superb communication skills, with ability to communicate clearly with both technical and functional audiences • Strong personal and technical social skills
