Job description

Position Summary
Responsible for supporting process development activities for downstream production processes, instruments and equipment.
Position Responsibilities
  • Support all downstream process development activities including execution of experiments, compilation and analysis of data and drafting of technical documents.
  • Assist in the evaluation, development and implementation of new downstream technologies leading to process improvements and efficiency of operation.
  • Assist with development of preliminary schedules along with material/personnel/equipment requirements to allow accurate and appropriate performance guarantees
  • Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
  • General lab organization

Minimum Requirements
  • B.S. degree in biotechnology or related (or equivalent training) with 0-4 years experience or a M.S. degree with 0-2 years experience.
  • Research Associate II requires a B.S. degree and 2+ years experience or a M.S. degree.
  • Experience with downstream process development and chromatography equipment required. Excellent written and communication skills for customer service and ability to meet strict client deadlines. Flexibility of hours to support downstream processes. Knowledge of GMPs and biotechnology-derived product regulations preferred.

Salary:
Process Development Associate I: $55,000-$75,900
Process Development Associate II: $63,000-$86,900
