BASIC FUNCTION: The North Country Regional Office is seeking a summer intern to assist with the internal processes associated with grant administration, project origination, and strategic planning.

This internship will offer hands-on experience in stakeholder contact management and engagement, project tracking, and regional development initiatives, providing valuable insights and skills for aspiring professionals in government, public administration, project development, finance, and related fields. WORK PERFORMED: Work Performed: As part of this internship, the selected candidate will engage in several critical activities that support the office's ongoing initiatives and strategic goals. Primary responsibilities include: 1.

Contact Database Management: Collaborate with staff to review and upgrade the agency's regional database of contacts. Verify the accuracy and appropriateness of contact information for key accounts and regional partners. Ensure contact records are aligned with current organizational and stakeholder needs.

2. Support for REDC Competition Application: Assist Regional staff with activities related to development of the upcoming application to the REDC's large project initiative. Work with the team on outreach activities, including power point preparation, event logistics, and stakeholder outreach.

3. Project Support: Contribute to the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives that arise during the internship. Space available in the Watertown or Plattsburgh Regional Office Minimum Qualifications Education level required: Preference for two years or more of undergraduate education.

Knowledge Required: Preference for knowledge with computer databases, word processing, project development, government. Additional Comments June 15th - August 7th Some positions may require additional credentials or a background check to verify your identity.
