Job description

We are an electrical construction firm specializing in commercial electrical and telecommunication infrastructure design, structured cabling installation and maintenance, electrical power distribution systems, data transmission systems, and distributed antenna systems (DAS).

From mission critical and sustainability projects to riser management, prefabrication, and more Gibson Electricโ€™s proven expertise, ISO 9001:2015 certification, comprehensive CAD department, pre-construction division, RCDD-qualified network designers, and Building Industry Consulting Service International- (BICSI) certified installers help ensure clients get first-rate service.

Notably, we are the only Chicagoland electrical contractor to be ISO 9001:2015 certified.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make maps to jobsites.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Make deliveries and/or pick-ups and complete proper paperwork.
  • Ensure that project materials, equipment, and tools are delivered timely.
  • Check and accept deliveries, noting damage on delivery slip.
  • Distribute paperwork as necessary.
  • Perform warehouse housekeeping as directed.
  • Comply with ISO quality program and all safety plans and programs and work rules as required by company policy.
  • Be able to comply with emergency deliveries at all times.
Job Specifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • EMCOR defensive driving course completion.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • State of Illinois class C license.
  • Forklift training certification.
Accountability and Measurement
  • Partner with others in the department or on the job site to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
