Job description

OverviewMotrex LLC is a service provider for Stryten Energy. Stryten Energy is a $1 billion leader in stored electrical energy solutions, including batteries and associated equipment and services for the transportation and industrial markets. We have over 2,500 employees working at manufacturing sites throughout the country. Motrex's corporate headquarters is located just north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. The internship will begin in May of 2027 and end in August 2027, and will work a 40-hour week with expectations of being on-site each day; no remote work. This is a paid opportunity; however, housing is not provided, so you must arrange for both housing and transportation. The Risk Management department is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's comprehensive insurance and risk management strategy.   • Assist with the maintenance of the company's insurance portfolio, including property, casualty, liability, cyber, and specialized manufacturing-related policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation material for the September property renewal, including SOV compilation for every Edison location
  • Assist in tracking and consolidating a response plan to all property loss control recommendations to mitigate risk and reduce annual premium expenditures 
  • Assist in application completion for pollution and management liability renewal.
  • Assist in tracking, consolidating, and reporting all premium renewals against budget and forecast targets 
  • Assist in maintaining the payment log for all risk management-related invoices and payments
  • Offer support to other Finance departments as needed, including Accounting, FP&A, and audit.
QualificationsWe are looking for students:
  • Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029
  • Working towards a BS in Risk Management or a related field.
  • With a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • You must have housing and transportation
  • The position is required to work onsite daily in Alpharetta, GA
