Our client, a regional CPA/Advisory firm, is seeking to add an Assurance & Risk Advisory Senior to their growing team. The firm offers a great work environment with an excellent path for career growth, advancement, and the opportunity to make an impact on the firm, client, and community.
This is a hybrid role local to SE Michigan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide innovative risk solutions to clients in a variety of industries
  • Collaborating with client personnel and other professionals to design new business processes, internal controls, project plans, working papers, and make improvement recommendations
  • Performing internal control assessments of management
  • Interviewing clients, examining evidence documentation, analyzing and performing substantive testing of financial data
  • Building relationships both internally and externally
  • Contributing to the success of our clients organizations
  • Developing staff associates and interns

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of relevant assurance experience in public accounting or industry.
  • CPA certification or progress towards the CPA exam.
  • SOX experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Outstanding client service and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for helping others be successful.
